SOUND DESIGN FOR VIDEO

Where sound and visual experiences merge

I create sound design for visual media by shaping textures, movement, rhythm and atmosphere around the emotional direction of the image.

Foley · Sound Effects · Sonic Identity · Audio Post

MY APPROACH

Sound should support the image without explaining it

Sound design for video is not only about adding effects.
It is about understanding movements, rhythm, space and visual intention,
then building a sonic layer that makes the image feel more present and emotionally precise.

I approach each scene by listening to what the image suggests:
physical gestures, transitions, cuts, atmosphere, silence and tension.
Every sound should feel connected to the visual world.

WHAT I CAN HELP YOU WITH

Sculpting the Sound
Around the Image

From subtle textures to precise sound effects, each element is designed to support the visual rhythm, emotional tone and identity of the video.

01

Foley & Movement

Footsteps, gestures, fabric, objects and physical details designed to make movement feel present, believable and connected to the image.

02

Sound Effects

Designed and edited effects that emphasize transitions, actions, cuts and visual accents without overpowering the scene.

03

Atmosphere & Texture

Ambient layers, abstract textures and sonic environments shaped to define mood, depth and visual atmosphere.

04

Audio Post for Video

Editing, timing, cleanup and final audio preparation to make the sound work clearly and consistently with the picture.

THE SOUND DESIGN PROCESS

From visual rhythm
to finished sound

A clear sound design workflow starts from the image. Each stage is built around timing, emotion, texture and the relationship between what is seen and what is heard.

1

Watch & Analyse

The video is studied to understand rhythm, movement, cuts, visual intention and the emotional direction of the scene.

2

Build the Sound Palette

Foley, effects, textures and atmospheres are selected or designed to create a coherent sonic language.

3

Edit to Picture

Sounds are placed, shaped and synchronized to support gestures, transitions and visual details with precision.

4

Refine & Deliver

The final audio is balanced, cleaned and exported in the right format for review, presentation or further post-production.
